Fender Stratocaster USA 1997
Here is my 1997 Fender Stratocaster USA in 3 tone sunburst. The guitar has an alder body and a maple neck. The tone of the guitar is superb and the single coil pickups are strong. The guitar is not too heavy to hold and it is constructed well. The choice of alderon this guitar was very good.
A black 3-ply scratchplate was fitted professionally, with black pickup covers and switches, as I wanted to give the guitar a 1970s CBS Stratocaster look (without all the problems!). The standard white scrachplates was rather dull in my opinion. Overall it's an American Standard Stratocaster so it's a top quality guitar and has a sweet tone. One of my best guitars.
